Diamond Clarity

Diamond Clarity

Diamond clarity is a measure of how clear and pure a diamond is. When diamonds are formed deep underground, they can sometimes have blemishes or impurities within the crystal structure. These blemishes can range from tiny crystals or minerals trapped within the diamond, to surface imperfections that are visible to the naked eye.

The clarity of a diamond is graded on a scale from "Flawless" to "Included." A flawless diamond has no visible blemishes or inclusions under 10x magnification. A diamond with a clarity grade of "Internally Flawless" also has no visible blemishes or inclusions under 10x magnification, but may have some surface imperfections.

Diamonds with clarity grades of "Very, Very Slightly Included" (VVS1 and VVS2) have very small blemishes or inclusions that are difficult to see even under 10x magnification. Diamonds with clarity grades of "Very Slightly Included" (VS1 and VS2) have small blemishes or inclusions that are slightly more noticeable under 10x magnification.

Diamonds with clarity grades of "Slightly Included" (SI1 and SI2) have blemishes or inclusions that are noticeable under 10x magnification, but may not be visible to the naked eye. An included diamond (I1, I2, and I3) has visible blemishes or inclusions that are noticeable to the naked eye.

It's important to note that diamonds with higher clarity grades are not necessarily more beautiful than diamonds with lower clarity grades. In fact, many diamonds with lower clarity grades can appear just as sparkly and dazzling as diamonds with higher clarity grades.

That being said, diamonds with higher clarity grades are generally more rare and therefore tend to be more expensive. At JOOLME, we offer diamonds with a clarity grade of "Slightly Included" (SI1) and above. From a cleanliness level of SI1 and above, it is not possible to identify any dirt or grime with the naked eye.

In conclusion, diamond clarity is a measure of how clear and pure a diamond is. It is graded on a scale from "Flawless" to "Included," with higher clarity grades being more rare and therefore generally more expensive. At [Company], we offer diamonds with a clarity grade of SI1 and above, which are not able to be identified as dirty with the naked eye. It's important to remember that diamonds with higher clarity grades are not necessarily more beautiful, and that a diamond with a slightly lower clarity grade can still be just as stunning as a diamond with a higher clarity grade, as long as the blemishes and inclusions are not visible to the naked eye.
